Course Outline
This qualification will be suitable for individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators. The individuals in such positions may possess substantial experience in a range of settings but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
On the other hand, it is also suitable for those individuals who have little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.
This qualification provides participants with the skills to obtain occupational positions such as:

Entry Requirements
RTO requirements
Domestic students
Training and assessments are conducted in English. Applicants must possess sound written and spoken English skills. You will be required to complete a Language Literacy, Numeracy test paper as part of an enrolment interview.
Some assessment tasks are completed using a computer and internet, and it is recommended that students have these available before or at enrolment.
International Students
The entry requirements for international students:
- Must be 18 years old or over
- Completed year 11 or equivalent
- Minimum score of 5.5 – IELTS, 46 – TOEFL, 42 – PTE, 47 CAE score or equivalent
Training Package
There are no pre-requisite or any other training package entry requirements to enrol in this course.
Duration
The program is 16 hours per week, 2 days per week.

Assessment Methods
MITT uses a range of assessment methods which may include:
- Written assessment (open book)
- Projects
- Case study
- Observation
Assessment will be either a Recognition of Prior Learning pathway or a Training and Assessment pathway.
For a Training and Assessment pathway, participants are advised of the assessment requirements at the start of each training session.
Students not achieving competency in any of the assessments will be required to undertake another assessment under the terms and conditions of MITT’s reassessment policy.
RPL/Credit Transfer
You can apply for recognition of prior learning, academic credit and work experience towards this qualification. During the course of your life you will develop a wide range of skills and knowledge. Through work, volunteer roles, family commitments and various tasks undertaken in everyday life, you are building up a bank of knowledge. The evidence of these skills and knowledge accumulated can be used to help you gain a qualification.
